tracscare Group Home Managers are required to have use of their own car. All tracscare Group staff of Senior Support Worker level and above must be able to drive. All tracscare Group Care staff from Support Worker and above will be required to study for the relevant NVQ qualification. This may include attending college and work study in their own time.

Job Descriptions

Support Assistant -

Age range 18 - 21 years, previous experience not essential. For a job description please click here

Support Assistant/Driver –

Applicants should be 25 years of age or older, previous care experience not essential. For a job description please click here

Support Worker Grade 1 –

Applicants should normally be aged 21 or older, previous experience not essential. For a job description please click here

Support Workers Grade 2 & 3 -

Applicants should be aged 22 or older, previous experience of working with the client group for six months desirable, able to act as Key Worker for clients, including supervision of Short Term Goal meetings and basic Care Programmes. Holding or working towards the relevant NVQ would be desirable, but not essential, as tracscare will provide training. For a job description please click here

Senior Support Worker -

Applicants should have previously worked with this client group, preferably for at least six months and have previous team leading experience. Successful applicants should be able to take charge of a unit for several shifts without referring to senior staff for advice. Holding or working towards the relevant NVQ would be desirable, but not essential, as tracscare will provide training. Successful applicants must hold a full driving licence, or be willing to undertake lessons and pass test within 12 months. For a job description please click here

Assistant Home Manager -

Applicants should have worked with this client group – preferably for at least six months and have proven supervisory experience. They should be capable of taking charge of a Home for up to one week. Applicants should have good general care experience and have received comprehensive in-service training. Holding or working towards the relevant NVQ would be desirable, but not essential, as tracscare will provide training. Successful applicants must hold a full driving licence, or be willing to undertake lessons and pass test within 12 months. click here

Deputy Home Manager –

Applicants must have a minimum of six months of working with this client group and have proven supervisory experience. Successful applicants will be able to take charge of a Home for up to two weeks. They should have good general care experience and have received comprehensive external or in-service training, including supervisory training. Holding or working towards the relevant NVQ would be desirable, but not essential, as tracscare will provide training. Home Manager -

Applicants should have a minimum of two years experience of working with this client group and have received comprehensive external or in-service training. They should have proven competency in a Deputy Manager role. Holding or working towards NVQ4 would be desirable.
