Little Billing pocket park is a big part of the community which anyone can use and enjoy the green areas and take walks. The school children use the area, and the locals are very proud of their local park. The park is even enjoyed by those who are not local, but still want to enjoy the countryside.
Unfortunately some vandals decided to uproot new trees planted in the park and destroy the hard work that had been put into making this lovely park the pride of Little Billing.
Orchard View decided they should help to replace some of these trees. Orchard View consider themselves to be a part of their community, and as such wanted to not only replace the trees but plant more.
On one day in December, all of the clients at Orchard View helped out and managed to plant over 500,000 saplings into the park. This was a feat they never imagined to obtain. There are now more trees growing in the park than ever before, in fact there’s now 2 trees there for every person living in the whole of Northamptonshire.

‘I’m extremely proud of what the clients have achieved. They worked hard all day to plant these trees which will provide beauty and benefit the community for many years to come.’
