Location

Pinetrees is located in a quiet residential area of Darlington in Northampton. The home is conveniently located within walking distance of shops and other community facilities such as sports/health club and has good transport links to Northampton town centre.

Accommodation

Pine Trees is a large and comfortable 6 bedroom home, with a large communal area, quiet lounge and large newly fitted kitchen. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities to increase privacy for clients, and all rooms meet or exceed the Care Standards minimum standards of 12sq.m and contain the relevant furnishings.

Client Group

Pine Trees aim to provide support to 6 clients with varied mental health needs, e.g. anxiety disorder, depression, post acute psychosis. We will provide therapeutic support for clients following discharge from acute hospital admissions and for clients who require additional support to regain, maintain and develop their living skills within a community setting.

Local Activities

Pine Trees although in a quiet setting, boasts good transport links with the local shopping centre and Northampton town centre. Nearby are a host of shops, a cinema, swimming pool and a range of restaurants. The famous Northampton Saints rugby ground is less than 5 minutes away.

Staff

All staff in Pine Trees receive a thorough induction and extensive ongoing training including Studio 3 low arousal approaches, foundation training, first aid, food hygiene and a 1-day course entitled understanding the client's perspective. Many staff have completed or are working towards their NVQ's in Care, and many have experience in working at other Tracscare homes.
