Location
Frood House is a detached house set in it own grounds on the outskirts of Swansea in the village of Clydach. The village, although in a quiet location, is near easy transport links to the M4 motorway, and public transport.
Accommodation
Frood House is a new development with new fixtures, fittings and décor throughout. Frood House has ten en-suite bedrooms, two sitting areas, large dinning room and large conservatory. It has laundry facilities and fully equipped kitchen where clients are encouraged to participate in cooking. The large dinning room opens on to a seated terrace area over looking a garden with a lovely view of Clydach.
Client Group
Frood House is registered to provide nursing care to adults of either gender with a mental health disorder and complex needs aged 18-65. Providing twenty four hour nursing care and support to each service user as required.
Local Activities
Clydach town has many facilities such as restaurants, pubs, shops and a golf course. It also boasts good public transportation links to the centre of Swansea.
Staff
Frood House is run by an experienced Manager, and an experienced team of quailed RMN/RNLD. A team of experienced and qualified staff are at hand for client assistance, all of whom fulfil the criteria for fitness to practice as identified with the registration body the NMC.
All healthcare assistants HCA's will receive mandatory training as directed by the CSSIW, and be supported to achieve level 2&3 NVQ in care covering first aid, mental health awareness, behaviour management, and studio III training.
