Location:

St Georges is located in the town of Northampton; the home is within walking distance of the town centre, which benefits from all the facilities of any large town. Opposite the house there is a large park, with tennis courts and leisure facilities. Close by there is a leisure centre, cinema, pubs and restaurants and the 'Saints' rugby ground is within walking distance.

Accommodation:

St Georges is a detached house with five single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. It benefits from a large lounge and kitchen with dinning area. Externally St Georges benefits from a large enclosed, well laid out rear garden and has off street parking. From some of the bedrooms there is a beautiful view of the park.

Client Group:

St Georges can accommodate five adults between the 18 and 65 years who have learning disabilities and associated mental health needs that may challenge the services provided.

Staff:

At St Georges, all staff receives extensive internal training supplemented by relevant external courses. Staffs receive in-depth training and on-going support on low arousal techniques, which are the core of tracscare care philosophy. Training is outlined in more detail on the staff page.

Care:

The philosophy of St Georges is to support and enable client towards independent living skills. The home's care policy is outlined fully within tracscare care policy.

Clinical:

Based on individual needs, clients have access to a larger professional team, which may include tracscare clinical Support Nurses, Speech therapist, clinical psychiatrist, reflexologist and behavioural therapist. The home is registered with C.S.CI. And comes under the category ' Mental Handicap/ Mental Disorder' and can accommodate adults with associated Mental Health needs and behaviours that may challenge the services provided.
