Dual Diagnosis

The term ‘Dual Diagnosis’ is used to describe the combined condition of a person with Mental Health needs who also has a learning disability (usually borderline), and also describes someone with either of these disorders who may also have experienced a substance abuse problem. On occasions the complexity of these needs may also mean that the client has a forensic background. The associated problems with Dual Diagnosis can be varied and complex, thus requiring a specialist method of care, from an experienced team of carers. tracscare is an experienced provider of care for individuals who may have Dual Diagnosis, in Homes specific to Dual Diagnosis across England and Wales.
