Location

Orchard View is an urban detached four bedroom house located on the outskirts of Northampton, offering comfortable accommodation for four adults within a community setting.

Orchard View is located within walking distance of the Weston Favell shopping centre, leisure centre, and other community facilities such as Billing Aquadrome, a well known local pleasure park.

Accommodation

Orchard View has four single rooms, all with full en-suite facilities, with a large lounge, dining room, conservatory and kitchen. Externally, the home has a well laid out rear garden and patio areas. The house is set back from the road behind mature trees and shrubs.

Client Group

Orchard View can accommodate four adults between the ages of 18 and 65 with mental health needs.

Activities

In the local area there are a small number of small shops, a pub, post office and various places of worship. The home also benefits from being within a short distance to the town centre and leisure facilities.

Staff

At Orchard View , all staff receive extensive internal training supplemented by relevant external courses. Staff receive in-depth training and on-going support on low arousal techniques, which are the core of tracscare care philosophy. Training is outlined in more detail on the Staff Page.

Care

The philosophy of Orchard View is to support and enable our clients towards independent living skills. The home's care policy is outlined fully within tracscare Care Policy. We support our clients in accessing work-based training facilities, voluntary work and part time work.

Clinical

Based on individual needs, clients have access to a larger professional team, which may include tracscare Clinical Support Nurses, speech therapist, clinical psychiatrist, reflexologist and behavioural therapist. The home also has strong links with the Community Support Teams that offer advice and guidance as required. The home is registered with C.S.C.I. and comes under the category 'Mental Disorder' and can accommodate adults with associated Mental Health needs and behaviours that may challenge the services provided.
