![]() tracscare - GwynfrynLocationGwynfryn is a new tracscare development, located in a suburban district of Llanelli, East Carmarthenshire, within easy reach of many community services. This includes the sea front, where the 'millennium coastal path' was recently developed. Gwynfryn is a few minutes drive to the M4 motorway, making the Home very accessible from across South Wales. AccommodationGwynfryn is an Edwardian House, with a relatively modern two story extension added to the rear, during its previous existence as a Residential Care Home. tracscare acquired Gwynfryn after the previous business closed and have significantly upgrading and refurbished the building to exceed current care standards. The Home hase 8 single bedrooms, all with full en-suite facilities. The Home has a large conservatory lounge, dining room, meeting room, good sized kitchen and two laundry rooms. Externally, there are well landscaped grounds, including a large sun patio and off road parking. There is an external (but under cover) smoking facility. Whilst Gwynfryn is not suitable for wheelchair user clients, disabled access and a disabled toilet have been incorporated into the design. Externally there are landscaped gardens to the rear. Client GroupGwynfryn will offer care to 8 adults with mental health needs. ActivitiesIn Llanelli, there is a main shopping centre, local shops to the Home include a Kwik Save Supermarket, pubs, restaurants, library, leisure centre and various places of worship. StaffGwynfryn will have an average of 5 staff on duty during the day and at night 1 wake night with 1 sleep night cover. All staff receive extensive internal training, supplemented by relevant external courses to ensure a high level of client care. All have been inducted in the clinical and rehabilitation aspects of mental health. Training is outlined in more detail on the Training Page. CareCare is based on an understanding of individual client needs. Clinicaltracscare employs RMN qualified Clinical Support Nurses to share up to date knowledge and research with the care staff teams and where required tracscare arranges input from Therapists, Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Psychologists. Gwynfryn is registered for 8 adults with mental health needs with the Care Standards Inspectorate Wales (CSIW) Government Building
