 tracscare - College FieldsLocationCollege Fields is a new tracscare home located in Llandaff, in the North West of Cardiff, South Wales, situated close to the beautiful countryside of the Taff Trail. AccommodationA large detached Home, College Fields comprises of 6 bedrooms with full en-suite shower rooms. On the ground floor is a large living room, smoking lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and one ground floor bedroom. The remaining 5 bedrooms are found on the first floor. College Fields features an enclosed rear garden with mature shrubs and borders and a large patio area. Client GroupCollege Fields is suitable for six male adults between the ages 18-65 who are experiencing Mental Health problems which may include non-acute anxiety disorder, schizophrenia and depression. ActivitiesLocal activities to Woodlands include colleges, drop in centres, theatres and a leisure centre. In house activities include music/art therapy, gardening, cooking sessions and independent life skills activities. The location of College Fields gives easy access to activities such as walking, cycling and horse-riding. Clients are also supported to maintain relationships with friends and families by visiting or meeting at social events. StaffCollege Fields has an average of 4-5 staff on duty during the day. However, one to one staff support is available dependent upon assessed client needs. Staff have qualifications which vary from N.V.Q's level 2, 3 and 4 plus holding or working towards Studio 3 and First Aid at work. Staff complete extensive internal training, concentrating on clinical awareness of client groups and low arousal responses to challenging needs. Staff are also actively encouraged to undergo external training such as N.V.Q's. ClinicalCollege Fields is registered with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales, for 6 male adults with Mental Health needs, age 18-65.
